Nice!

So you're gonna pay for all the Magpul stuff that would have come on the Magpul model?

P.S. By purchasing this rifle, you are now required to attend a steel plate match... 2nd Saturday of the month!

It won't all be magpul, I like their stuff. but not the grips.. I like CAA they feel like the hogue 1911 grips.

Plus I don't want it all black.. that's why I opted for the cheaper model.

So what are you thinking for optics? I sure like my Eotech on mine, but it's a hand-me-down from a big-boy AR, I wouldn't have spent that much if I didn't already have it.

I like aimpoints better than the eotech's.. something about the crazy huge circle.

I will probably pick up a micro or take the one off my .223 and upgrade that one..

Well that 'crazy huge' (65 MOA) circle is what makes it awesome! It's way faster than a dot to put on man-sized targets at close range, and you still have the 1 MOA center dot to make accurate shots at 100+ yards where a 3 or 5 MOA dot may obscure the target. You can also use it for range estimation and hold-over for longer shots.

Oh and added bonus... that 'crazy huge' circle just about fills a 12" steel plate at the ranges you'd find at a steel plate match. Just match the circle to the plate and score hits!

But yeah if you're gonna get an Aimpoint Micro, I'd put that on the .223 and move your old one to the .22. But this is coming from the guy that ended up taking his cheap optic off and moving his Eotech to his .22.
