Arrow Homeowners "Use of force" class

I just found out about a training class for Washington Homeowners on use of force for defense of ones home put on by Accuracy Northwest, LLC.

Clicky Linky

It's $75 for a 4 hour class, and the class is being held at Cabellas in Lacey.

Curriculum includes:
  • WA State Laws governing homeowners rights of use of force
  • Determine the proper use of force when applicable
  • Relevant facts about home invasion & residential burglaries
  • Situational awareness throughout your home to give you the tactical advantage - winning the confrontation
  • Security measures for inside and outside the home
  • General firearm safety skills
  • The aftermath: When the police arrive
It's a bit south for me, but thought it might be good for south-enders or Portlanders.

I do believe I will sign up for the September class. I have a feeling parts of this class will remind me of Criminal Justice class, but for $75 bucks I dont mind doing a refresher.

cheers

Might end up going myself if a few others do. I figured so often do we see discussions around, "Man, if someone broke into my house I'd [INSERT ACTION HERE]", that it might be wise to actually go over some real law stuff. ;)

A bit far for me not to mention cost... I know, $75 isn't much for most and at one time it wasn't for me but on a limited income, it's tough. I know I'd benefit from this. Whoever goes, please share what you can, I think I speak for most of us we'd be watching avidly...
