I can't help but wonder if he could be charged with any crime for this? Inciting violence, death threats? Somehow I don't think it would happen even if it could.

The author would rather have mob violence than gun violence. The key to ending violence broadly is to create citizens who support society not those who seek to subvert it because they are mentally unable to operate within the system. guns/arms are not even the issue, but is an easily compartmentalized debate to avoid the unsightly and more complicated issue of defining what is and how to create good citizens in our society.

Repeal of the 2nd Amendment is not going to happen.

That would require 38 states to asset. All that is needed to block it is control of one house or the other (or the governor) in 13 states.

(Yeah, yeah, Nebraska has a unicameral legislature but you see my point).
