Terribly sad. In my limited experience, lawyers and judges are some of the most resistant to security provisions. I worked at the old Federal Courthouse for a few months in 2002, and even with active threats, the judges would park on the street, in the reserved parking, and walk in. Could not get them to call ahead, use the garage, or even let us walk them in.
