Bullet Production

Yesterday I got a FB status update from Freedom Munitions. They said they had a limited supply of .45ACP and .223 up for sale (previously they'd halted sales of anything because of overload).

I saw the update and was at their site within 7 minutes of it being posted. They had 1/2 cases (500 rounds) for $253.49. I added one to my cart, logged into my account and when I clicked Checkout got a message that the item was sold out. Basically $.50/round.

(I'd just gotten another 1000 of .45ACP from them a month ago so didn't check that out.)

Today I got another status update from them that they had another limited amount of .223 (200 units), again 500 rounds, but they were selling for $199 with a coupon code. This is $.40/round.

While I also missed out on this deal (didn't see it for about an hour), it at least gives me the impression production is kicking back into gear and the silly $.70 - $1.00 a round silliness is coming to an end.

I'm not sure what prices have been like for 9mm & .45ACP but it sounds like they've been crazy, too. Any experience with that? I also recently picked up another 1000 9mm so haven't needed to buy any in the last few weeks.

Any other stores you're seeing that are beginning to sell again at reasonable prices?
