Hey guy’s I’m in the market for a good shoulder rig for my Sig 229, the particular one I have my eye on is the Galco MIAMI CLASSIC II, it has great reviews and such, I was just wondering if any of you have/used one currently of have in the past and what your thoughts are about them. I’m open to other ideas but that’s the one that just stands out to me. Any input is appreciated.

I own one.... in fact, mine is for my P229.

Awesome quality, very, very comfy. The one thing I need to do for mine is purchase the belt hooks. When out hiking/working etc.. it flops around too much.

I plan on getting the 1911 holster/mag holders for mine so I can use it with my Kimber.

Get it. You will not be dissapointed.

I have one for my Glock 21. It took a little work to get it broken in, because they shrink/undersize them deliberately.
A couple nights of holstering/unholstering the unloaded weapon while watching a movie did the trick.
But once broken in, they probably will last a lifetime, and I like the newer design of horizontal magazine carry.

I have an old original Jackass for my 1911 (with the retaining strap that allows carrying in condition 1) and that thing has lasted since about 1986, and is still in service.

Galco makes some tough products. :top:
