Any article that helps make people aware that there's a lot more to fighting and self-protection than just shooting is a step in the right direction. Thanks for sharing that.

Good info to think about. I hate that my range doesn't allow moving and shooting. Always on the lookout for a closer place to me outdoors where I can practice this sort of thing.

Have you tried IDPA? I haven't gotten out as much as I'd like to (and it doesn't approximate all of these things) but it's super fun and has some applicability...

I have been wanting to shoot a few matches, but haven't gotten away to get to one. I will get to one eventually, it just might take a while.

Big Stick, ive got a plave thats pretty remote that we/you could set up barrels, and steels and do drill all day long if you wanted to.


its just off 302 about a 25min drive from my house in Lacey.

beings your in the Harbor might be about same distance through the back side.
