Hello this is my first thread...anyway life ripped my heart out when all my guns were stolen. I have a Ruger 10/22 barrel and stock. Does anyone know where I can buy the receiver (trigger action, bolt, and skeleton)? I figured i would try to make a gun lol...any help would be appreciated

Try gunbroker.com they have auctions for tons of random things. Although, it might be easier to just buy a new 10/22 and sell off your barrel and stock.

Make sure you check with your homeowners/renters insurrance. They should cover at least some of the replacement costs. And if you are an NRA member, you might have signed up for additional insurrance and not realized it.

The insurance company did not believe me. They said this because i did not take inventory of my guns. They said they would cut me a check for $100 as per base insurance claim. Whatever! I am so sick of dealing with insurance jerks. Yea i was looking at gunbroker and they have receiver packs in there for full price of the gun. I thought I would try though. Let's go back to the old days when we could advertise guns in the newspapers! Ty for info

Yeah, just keep in mind price wise, if you ship the reciever, you will have to go through an FFL which will charge you anywhere from $25-$50 depending on where you go for a transfer fee, plus usage tax. So it might be cheaper still to just buy a whole new gun.

Sorry for your lost. My family has had guns stolen a few years back. It would be cheaper to just buy a new 10-22.

The insurance company is not your friend. If you lack any evidence of owning the gun, then they can deny the claim. It's not like owning a refrigerator. My homeowner's policy will cover me up to $20,000 for loss in a fire, but only $1000 for theft. All of my property is photographed to show that I own it. I know this is a hard lesson to learn, but they usually are.

It will be easier to just buy a new 10/22 and sell the old parts online at E-bay or Gunbroker.
