Hey guy's I was thinking about organize a group shooting event in the next 2-3 weeks, I just wanted to test the waters and see if people are interested and if so which day would be best for everyone.

I'm working OT this weekend, not sure about next. But I've been really wanting to get the KSG and the PredatOBR out...

Not 100% in, but certainly interested.

I like the idea. I could head over to that side for a get together. I'll have to check with the wife on which days work best.

Where were you thinking? A range somewhere, or out in the woods? I would prefer to do it somewhere we could shoot cool targets and share guns, and not have to worry about lanes and booths.

I was thinking out in the open woods, I know of a good spot up in Darrington.

That sounds great! Any distance there? or just a spot for plinking?

I was just wondering what to bring if we can make it:grin:

North Fork Gravel Pit can hold alot of people with about 200yds to shoot across.
as another option for North living folks

That might be a better option, in the spot in Darrington can hold a fair number, but it's limited to maybe 50-75 yards at the max..

Is the pit still open, and legal to shoot at?

I'm not trying to butt in but, I'd be very interested in meeting up with some WA folks for a shoot. I just bought a Ruger GSR and I'm chomping at the bit to get some trigger time with it but the range is so restrictive about what you can and can't do that it takes most of the fun out of shooting. I'm in Gig Harbor but willing to drive.

North Fork Gravel Pit is between Deming and Kendall off Mt. Baker Hwy.
You turn off Mt. Baker Hwy onto Mosquito Lake Rd then turn off onto North Fork Rd. It becomes a gravel road and turns into DNR land (Discovery Pass required, therefore no Tannerite, now).

Years ago we had a group shoot there with Cuervo. Good times!
