News release: 11/07/14. Washington State.

TO: All media organizations and groups.
FROM: Gavin Seim, lead organizer of the “I WILL NOT Comply Rally”.

Initiative 594 just passed in Washington State, bringing on residents mandatory gun background checks and making it a felony to privately purchase or even hand a gun to a friend without government permission. We the people of Washington State will not comply with this lawless legislation. The highest law is that of liberty and our Constitution. Our rights will be upheld.

On Dec 13th 2014, just after the law is legally in effect, we stand and disobey the illegal restrictions of i594. We must not wait for our rights to be decided but act swiftly to affirm them. In under 72 hours over 5000 have RSVP’d to this stand on Capital grounds in Olympia and assert their God given rights.

Joining in the event will be speakers, patriots and families from across the State to remind our legislators that lawless legislation will not be obeyed and to teach others about their rights.
Will you bow down and lick the boots of tyrants, or will you stand for the liberty of your children? We are not asking permission, we are not standing silent. Our birthright is not theirs to take. We stand peaceful, principled, firm and resolute for the liberty so many have perished for. We stand to uphold law and we will not comply with lawlessness from government.

We Stand! Stand with us.

In Liberty – Gavin Seim.

The tyrants didn't do this.
The government didn't do this.
The general public in Washington State did.

It was put to a vote and your friends, family, co-workers and others voted on it and passed it into law. Is that not the way things are supposed to happen? Yes, there were outside influences from Bloomberg and others but in the end....the public voted on it and passed it. It was not written into law in a Senate session. It was not written into law in Olympia without our input.

Demonstrating at the capital won't do much. In fact, it will probably draw negative publicity towards our cause and our rights. "Gun nuts" is a label that we don't want to promote, right? Then don't promote it. People are scared of what they don't know. Educate them. Having a WILL NOT COMPLY rally is only going to reinforce those that voted for this that they did indeed do the right thing.

It would be far, far better to educate the public, your friends, family and co-workers and draft a Bill to amend or over turn this legislation. Food for thought.

Not even King County. I live there and both in our house most certainly did not support this ****.

The community I'm in doesn't support it. Amboy? Lol, buncha redneck motherfuckers out here. A lot of people I know don't support it either. Still trying to figure out how it passed but I guess now it's a moot point.

*shrug*, given the distribution of votes and people across the state, a couple of LARGE majority counties easily tips it over.
