Hey, I'm new here so sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. Yesterday (Friday) I went to my local gun shop to buy a new pistol. It was a used Ruger p97dc for those of you who are wondering. I payed in full for the pistol, but the guy rang it up as if it was on layaway. He also told me there is a 10 day waiting period. I told him I thought it was 5 business days and he said something about a new law or something. I have never heard of having to wait 10 days for a pistol in WA. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. |

with holidays, weekends, and the end of the day when you bought it, yeah, it can be up to 10 days, so they say that instead of "well, sometimes they get back to us in 1 day, but supposed to be 5"
