I looked around and didnt see another thread like this so my apologies if its been done... I thought it would be cool if everyone talked a little about their favorite gun store. where Its located, do they have a gun range attached to the store, and generally what you like about the store. I think this would be a good way for people to find new stores in their area and perhaps give people a chance to see what different stores have to offer. My favorite Gun store is Lost Creek Armory located in Bend, Oregon on the northside, right next to shopko and the military recruiting stations. They dont have the biggest store but they have dam near any gun you could think of in stock. They carry a wide variety of handguns (mag-fed and revolver) to Rifles including Bolt action, semi auto, AR-15's, etc, etc, etc. The 2 staff members are super knowledgeable about everything guns and have a pretty good sense of humor as well. the owner also does custom holsters. I'm pretty sure that he has patterns for almost any handgun you can think of. Great store and i would recommend them to anyone that lives in the area. |

Adventure Sports, due to knowledge, selection, service, and one of the guys reminds me of my uncle (like a shorter twin, really...), but also their LOCATION and STOCK help a lot. They are very close to my place, and if they carry it, they have it in stock.

Kesserling is good for bulk ammo stuff and cheaper ammo, but the gun shows are now my favorite place for that stuff.

Federal Way Discount Guns... good prices, good selection, knowledgeable staff but often very busy. Ben's Loans/Pawn in Renton... almost as good prices on guns, cheaper on ammo, ok selection, knowledgeable staff but often very busy as well. |

For handgun knowledge and prices? Mary's Pistols in Tacoma. They smoke everyone else (including Feddy Way Discount) on handgun prices. For ammo, AR-15's, and generally good people? Surplus Ammo & Arms down in Lakewood. It's always fun making special trips to head down to their store. :) |

Bull's Eye in Tacoma. It is quite large with all kinds of guns, safes, gear, etc... There is a range attached, and they have always been very friendly and knowledgable.

They're probably the most overpriced store in the entire Puget Sound area, not to mention their absolutely atrocious customer service. It's pathetic to walk into a store with 5 people working and not have anyone even say hello to you for fifteen minutes. |

I've had them do a little gun smithing on my .45 because I trusted them to do it right.. I shoot there when it's convenient.. I've purchased ammo from them when it was convenient... I've never purchased a gun or hardware from them.

I don't know about you guys, but Kesselrings absolutely sucks in my book as far as service goes, and I won't spend a penny more there because of it...

NW Pawn was where the fellow told me that I could not have ammo shipped directly to me. People on this board have told me that is not true. I was a little turned off because of this. Other than that, I have really liked NW Pawn. I have only purchased one gun from them but I've come by a few times. Good selection btw.

My favorite and where I try to spend my money when I can is West Coast Armory in Issaquah. Great staff and selection with reasonable prices. They just opened a firing range and pro-shop in Factoria... I was hoping to go there by now but haven't had both the time and money to do so yet. Wades is good for shooting on ladies night, just make sure to bring a lady. I agree with what's been said about their shop, but the guy with the English accent is helpful and friendly... one of a very few of their store employees that are. |

NW Pawn for me too, although I do like Axel too. Very good service in both places.
