So we bought a Hipoint 995

My son turned 18, So I bought us a 9mm Hipoint carbine. Here's my reveiw of it. Great gun! really fun day we took it out. The red ball 20 round mag worked with 1.150" loads, 1.160" loads any thing longer got stuck in mag both red ball and factory mags wouldn't stack flat nosed loads, mags are rounded. when gun jams it presses bullet in case really far and makes that load dangous to shoot. We found shooting off tripod uncomfortable and better with a forward grip. 1 twenty round mag and 3 ten round mags burns up abox of shells fast. we shot close to 400 rounds that day with factory loads, mid range loads hot loads and it ate every thing except flat nosed loads. At the end of the day both of us even pulled off some shots at the 250 yard gong, you had to aim off the base of the front sight and move it left or right to see target then hide it with sight but we hit it! I like it he likes it. Bought a laser for it too. THis thing ROCKS!

That was my first gun when I was 19. If the 20 round mags hd been around then maybe I would have kept it.

They certainly aren't glamorous and their price makes people feel entitled to tell you how much they suck, but I had nothing but good things to say about mine, too.
