your mission should you accept it is to canvass local gun shops and find me 2 damn Springfield Armory GI Issue 1911s

Places i have looked
Kesselrings
West Coast Armory
Discount Guns
Discount Guns Fed Way
Sams Guns
Adventure Sports

They have to be the Gi-Issue Parkerized black

I know you said local but I buy most of mine from out of state. Keeps my money (for now) out of Grewoire's hands.

Buds has a stainless. Pay the $20 transfer and you're total will still be under $700

Have you rubbed it on your nippols??? (an important if commonly overlooked step in proper break in)

no... but i've put about 300 rounds through it and cleaned it twice.....
