I'm not really a baretta fan so I don't know many of their guns, but do they even have a 1911 style .45?:hmmmm2:

model 92's similar to 1911's? huh? 92's have an open topped slide witht he barrel exposed, no grip safety, they have a manual safety, they are DA/SA instead of just SA like a 1911, the triggers are much different, they 92's are double stack, 1911's for the most part single stack unless you want to buy kimber crap. I guess if you figure that they both shoot bullits using gunpowder then they're similar......

I'd personally recomend one of the taurus PT1911's, you get a ton of bang for your buck.

The VERTEC kinda looks like a 1911 - grip angle appears to be the same 11 degree.

Umm... it does? Neither of them look anything like a 1911, other than the fact that they are both handguns. About the only thing I can think of is the grip angle... a 92 (or M9) grip angle is similar to a 1911 where a Glock is more like a Luger.

Para is now offering the "GI Expert", an entry-level 1911 with some nice features for $599 MSRP.

Thanks fatfugg, thats what she looks like.. I'm selling because I really don't need it, I'd rather use the money for motorcycle gear. I've got an XDm 40 so I'm still good.. Like I said I haven't even shot it yet.
