I'm mostly looking for cash, but will entertain trades. I do need a nice optic like an eotech or something of equal quality.

All AK's are imported as parts kits (a military rifle with a cut receiver) from various commy countries around the world. This one is a Romanian and the G stands for where it was issued from I think.

Aside from that this is not a commercially assembled rifle. This was built by a gunsmith in Idaho, as the previous owner informed me. Which is not a bad thing, many of the companies like Century Arms put out complete garbage most of the time.

So this is a Romanian G rifle kit (you should be able to look that up) built on a Nodak spud receiver. It takes double stacked high capacity magazines, don't know about the single (I think those are narrower for ban states).

As far as Ak's go this is one of the nicer ones I've had, and the collapsible stock makes it just as handy as my m4. I like this thing, but I told myself it would go if I got another rifle. I may be picking up a 14.5in bushy ar upper soon, so it really has to go.

I'll do $550 this weekend.

Actually quite a few ak's have been imported as complete rifles.

You can tell that this rifle is'nt a WASR because the WASR does'nt have the mag stabilization dimples on each side of the magwell because the romanians used single stack mags and don't have the dimples.

WASR's are imported complete guns and use the actual romanian reciever. The double stacks are ones that were modified by century arms to accept normal AK mags, or were modified by someone else. Some fire great, some don't.

Not saying anything bad about this rifle, just getting the info out there :)
