I don't recall any ammo laying around for this, but I will include this rod in the deal. :)

Yeah, but isn't that usually left there so it doesn't get all dinged up? (I mean, obviously not in a battle situation.)

are you sure what you're offering is a ram rod and not a cleaning rod? what's the tip look like

maybe you know more about blackpowder rifle shooting since I've never done it either, but I've done a little research for expanding my hunting opportunities...I don't recall anyone ever not using the ram rod.

No, I'm not sure. :(

On the Thompson site I did see a lot of cleaning rods but no pictures. I think I'll adjust the wording of the ad from "ram rod" to simply "rod". Those in the know will probably have a better idea of it...

I did find this one though, which looks a lot like the one above: http://www.outdoorhuntingsupply.com/traditions-durable-solid-aluminum-ramrod-ohs-4866.html

And another, which is very close to what's above: http://www.dedinski-muzzleloader.com/verkauf/gewehre_en/sonstiges/zubehoer_uhg/index.htm

Yeah, I didn't really know myself. Looks like it's both.

It can be yours for the low low price of whatever I posted above. :)

Someone should grab this and save me the trouble of shipping it. I'll take $25 off the price, making it $225 (I'd edit the post but for some reason the Edit button isn't appearing on the first posts of my threads -- although they were just a few seconds ago)...

perhaps you find out about black powder rifle firing since I've never done it either, however, I've done a little research for extending my chasing opportunities...I don't remember anybody ever not utilizing the slam pole.

Somebody should snatch this and save me the difficulty of delivering it. (I'd alter the post yet for reasons unknown the Edit button isn't showing up on the main posts of my strings - despite the fact that they were only a couple seconds prior
