Dropped and broke my Ruger security six today. real problem is that it's loaded and i can't get the cylinder open. I need a good gunsmith to help me with this ASAP. Thanks.

You dropped and broke a RUGER? I didn't think that was possible short of dropping it off a VERY tall building. Not sure how to disassemble a security six. My GP100 would be no prob. Good luck.

Try the gunsmith at Champion Arms indoor shooting range in Kent. I'll be he can fix it. He's good at diagnosing and fixing gun problems.

fan it to unload it? then pull back the hammer and use a punch from behind to tap out the cyl pin.....dunno if that would work with a transfer bar model but it would on a 3-screw :)
