Cool. I've got an 1100 but have been thinking of picking up something a little less shiny. I also have 2 Chesapeek/lab mix puppies and am hoping at least 1 of them will turn out to be a good retriever.

Sweet. There are a few public places around here to hunt. No idea if they are any good or not, but I feel they would be worth a shot. Some layout blinds, decoys and a couple calls and I think you'd be set for field hunting. |

Sounds good. I know there's some public stuff open in the area, just need to make some time to scout it out. I think my dad has a few hundred decoys in CA. I'll see if he can send me a few. I'm also planning to hunt some pheasant if anyone's interested. |
