Cool. I've got an 1100 but have been thinking of picking up something a little less shiny. I also have 2 Chesapeek/lab mix puppies and am hoping at least 1 of them will turn out to be a good retriever.

Sweet.

There are a few public places around here to hunt. No idea if they are any good or not, but I feel they would be worth a shot.

Some layout blinds, decoys and a couple calls and I think you'd be set for field hunting.

Have shotgun, will travel.

I've mostly shot upland stuff, but would love to shoot some waterfoul. If you don't mind someone relitivly new joining.

My buddy chuck hunts a TON of duck and geese..

He's on here but doesn't post a ton. I'll ping him.

Sounds good. I know there's some public stuff open in the area, just need to make some time to scout it out. I think my dad has a few hundred decoys in CA. I'll see if he can send me a few.

I'm also planning to hunt some pheasant if anyone's interested.

Geese Eastern wa (no water but retrieved with his pooch)

Pheasants in Samammish (some water with his pooch)

Ducks up towards everett (all water.. with his pup retrieving)

Geese on this side of the MTNs (pooch pickup)
