Guided hunting in E Wa

I've been hunting mostly public land here in Western Wa for the last 5 years, and i've only seen (and shot) one deer. Lots and lots of does, one buck.. This ratio is unacceptable. lol.. I keep hearing that the hunting in E Wa is better and less crowded, but I just don't have the time to drive out and look for a good spot on public land. My dad and I have talked about paying someone to use their land for a few days like we did back in Tx, but I don't know what areas are going to be worth the money. We've also talked about hiring a guide, but that shizz is expensive. We don't need someone to hold our hands or cook meals, we just need someone to say "that's where the stand is, have at it".

So my question(s) is..

-Does anyone know of public land where the odds are very high that 2 experienced hunters can bag at least one elk or deer? Not looking for trophies, looking to fill the freezer.

-Does anyone know a land owner that would let people pay to hunt for one long weekend (maybe 2 if we didn't get anything), and not charge a fortune?

-Does anyone know a guide in E Wa that will just tell us where to set up and not charge us an arm and a leg?

Thoughts..? Thanks..

And just to get everyones juices flowing. :) My last deer.

I'd love to help, but I'm done deer hunting in WA.

Next time I deer hunt, I'll just get Montana tags and have my brother take me shopping at his in-laws place where I have a standing invite.

Been looking at starting up hunting myself but can't fathom the time and expense of going to Idaho or Montana. My father in law who is a lifelong hunter likes to go there but too much money and time off work for me. Woudn't mind going to E. Wa for a week or so though if good spots can be found...

Sounds like we are about in the same boat. Let us know if you figure anything else out. Wish I could help.

There are lots of good areas in eastern WA, they all can become fairly busy though.

My last trip out to the eastside was for coyote/duck purposes and I began to realize the amount of land leased by some group called the family hunting organization or something like that (and others). Some BS rates of like $12-1300 per year per hunter...so unfortunately groups like this that cater to people willing to spend that much are stealing up a lot of the good land that farmers used to let regular guys go on.
