looks like you copy/pasted the url of the page displaying the pic, not the url of the pic.

in firefox, right-click on the image "copy image location" is how I get image url's, but your flikr has that disabled.

I had to click on viewing the image in a medium size (large/etc would probably have worked too) before I was able to get the image location.

Thank you! I'm used to just uploading photos so that helps a lot.

And I really like that Solingen thrower, mjn! Where'd you come across that?

Thanks! My father in law handed some knives down to me when he passed last year.
It is a German made knife by a dude named Anton Wingen. Called the Othello throwing knife.
That Schrade Scrimshaw was made in '77, the Auto was made back in the 40's or 50's.

I don't have pictures of many of my blades right now.. but here are a couple more;

I like different stuff... this probably isn't worth anything.. but 20 years ago, I thought it was cool;
kNIVES009.jpg

I've got tons of funky stuff like this one.. worlds fair knives etc..
kNIVES016.jpg

A Buck that I've carried several times;
kNIVES015.jpg

Again, probably not worth much... but an old Imperial fixed/folding combo;
kNIVES032.jpg

Several older Buck folders... need to clean some of these puppies up..

Tried looking around for it on ze interwebs and couldn't find one that hadn't already been sold, looks like you've got a keeper that's for sure. Quite lucky.

p.s. sorry for your loss

@ mjn: I have the exact same bone handle hunting knife. Mine was made in Germany..... where did I put that knife anyway? This will drive me crazy till I find it.

Did you see what they were bringing?

Which one? The Case, or the funky folder?
