Favorite EDC knife+favorite large fixed blade

Fixed knifes are illegal to carry in some counties in washingrad. The blue ones mainly.
Yet you can carry ANY sized folding knife.

My mother told me when I was 10, I could carry a pocket knife. That was over 50 years ago. I have carried one ever since. For protection, not hardly. It is a tool, and I use it as such.

The EDC blade I chose was only made one year (2010) by Cold Steel.



90% of knives today are made of Chinese stainless steel. These are made in Japan. Stainless is not as good as high carbon steel blades. This is way this one has a serrated edge. If not I would have went with a high carbon blade.
