Hey guys,
Well this is my first gun forum membership. I am an active member on GeoMetroForum.com also, Yes I own a Metro . I have owned a BLR .243 with a Leupold scope since I was about 12 or 13. It's an awesome rifle, very accurate, and powerful enough to bring down an elk. Yesterday after 9 months of research, I purchased a Springfield XD .40 compact in Vancouver, WA. I was expecting to be able to walk out with it, but apparently there's a 5 day waiting period (failed to research that.) So I'll have to drive 90 miles each way to pick it up next week:banghead:. This was my first time purchasing... so now I know for future reference. I'm really excited to pick it up, I've heard nothing but great things about it. The old man has a Remington 7mag and a Glock .40 sub compact. He definitely has more on me in the rifle category, but I'm hoping to edge out his Glock with this Springfield.
Judging by the frequency of posts, it looks like a pretty active forum, which is always good to see. Look forward to talking to ya'll.
Cheers,
Matt T.
