Howdy, folks!

Just saying hello. I just bought a handgun (a cheap .380) after three decades of not owning a gun at all.

I live in Seattle, and I'm looking for a place to get in some practice on the new toy. Things aren't like they were when I was a kid. Then, I could walk out into the fields and blast away.

welcome aboard.
These days the city busses and local malls are where it's at for target practice.

Ha ha j/k. What prompted the return to guns?

Welcome.

My brother likes Wade's Eastside Guns for indoor shooting. Myself, I prefer Norpoint shooting range. It is 3 miles east of the Smoky Point exit, I 5.

Well, I kept riding the buses and going to the malls and seeing all of these opportunities for target practice . . .

Seriously, I'm planning on getting back into fishing and camping. Back in the day, I had a couple of experiences that made me a bit anxious. One can meet some sketchy folks out in the woods. I was never in an encounter that progressed anywhere. But I'll feel better with something more than a pocketknife at hand.

Welcome to the forum...

I know you meant it in jest but I see all to often at the range people not taking shooting as a dangerous hobby... many times I have to take control for the range masters and stop activities that threaten others

Guns are to be treated with respect and not as toys... for the safety you and others around you...

Just my soap box dance...

Enjoy be safe..
