Portland by way of California

Hi there,

I'm a Texan living in California, contemplating a move to the Portland area. Just wanted to say hello and get some feedback on Oregon gun laws and any upcoming gun legislation. To make a long story short, I moved to CA for a high paying job. I have an opportunity to do the same in Portland. When I moved to CA, I knew the gun laws were strict but couldn't pass up the transfer. This time I'm thinking about my 2nd amendment rights rather than money. Being a Calguns member (same name), I scoured google looking for a similar forum dealing with Oregon gun laws. My plan is to get out of CA asap. Hopefully, me and my family can call OR home. PNW looks legit! I look forward to reading and participating on this forum.
