Hey all. I saw this website from another forum (Boiseriders.net) and thought I'd take a look. I am new to guns and shooting, but I am in love already. I just bought myself a Ruger 380 and a Ruger .22. My husband has a Glock .45 and his newest addition is a Ruger SR556. I fell in love with shooting as soon as my finger felt the trigger the first time.

Anyway, that's me! :hello:

Welcome! Lots of riders here, for sure.

The ZX-6R is really nice. It'll be quite a bit different than your 250.

Is it? I haven't test rode one, but I took my husband's SV650 out for a spin and loved it!

Nampa is about 20 miles away from Boise and about 4ish hours away from Idaho Falls.

Yeah, it will make the SV650 look slow. Just a heads up be careful with it the first few rides! If you started on a 250 you'll be fine though. Welcome!

Oh yeah. The ZX-6R is a street legal version of Kawasaki's racing bike (assuming you're talking about their latest generation). Very steep ergonomics, powerful 4 cylinder, liquid cooled motor (not going to go over all the specs).

It is considerably different than your husband's SV. The SV is a pussy cat by way of comparison. ;)

Kawasaki also makes a 650R, which is much more similar to the SV650 in terms of ergonomics, power, handling, etc.

Welcome, I like Idaho, Guns, Golf, Fishing, ...

We've got all that here! :) Although, good luck finding ammo for the guns, as is everywhere I suppose!

We're hoping to get some dirt bikes this summer for the kids. (And us. Mostly us, who am I kidding?! )

My brother has a Harley, but I can't get the gumption to get up and take it out. It's quite a bit bigger and heavier than my little 250 I was used to!
