Mounting a scope

Not knowing much about optics, how hard would it be to mount some sort of scope on a .22 Rifle.
Rifle in mention is an older GevarM .22 LR Cal 5.5
Can't find much info on it

You probably need to take it to a gunsmith and have it drilled and tapped for a scope mount. After that is done, it would be easy to put your scope on the mount with rings.

Kind of what I thought!
Any thoughts on who to use in the South end... Marksman any good, they are 10min from the house

before you go taking it in, look at the top where a scope would mount.

if it's smooth, no rails, no ribs, you'll need to take it in. there's not a lot of metal there that it needs to grab

Thanks for the tips,
The boys at Marksman hooked me up with some nice Dovetail mounts and a cheap scope, just enough to get the Boy excited!!!
