Yes. battery life and field of view is worse than an aimpoint. If you like crosshairs, this might be for you but otherwise.....why?

Main reason is batteries. It'd be nice to have something without batteries that is parallax free.

carrying a spare AA is a pain I guess. I might need one in two years if I leave my aimpoint on.
