any info on pistol scopes?

wanting to put a scope on my old ruger 357, any info on what to buy? i see them advertised for 40 on up to a zillion bucks but what i want to know is eye relief? 10 " just does not seem right, thinking my normal hand to face is around 24" so....anyone know of a good scope that is easy on the wallet? or is there such a thing, thanks

I have a Nikon 2x on my hamerilli trailside, and had a Weaver 4x on a Thompson Contender both scopes were just fine.

what range do you plan on shoting it??

Have you thought about reddots?

do a little research when you descide what optic you want to use and make sure it can handle hot loads
