I got a Taurus PT145 millenium pro, it's sub compact and I carry it most of the time. For the money you can't beat it in my opinion, easy to take apart and it's inexpensive. Glocks don't really fit well in my hand when it comes to compact/sub compact IMO. I think it ran me a little over $400 with tax when I bought it. just my .02 |

I like my night vision and from a defensive position, all that gas and shit blowing into my face will not help me win the fight. Ported barrels are not your friend in a fight. Personally, I'm not a fan of the XD system but if you shoot it well then it's a viable option. Buy something you shoot well and will shoot often. If it's something that sits because you don't like the feel or the recoil, the trigger, whatever...ditch it. Once you have decided on a gun and proven it reliable, take a class!
