I have a PPKS that I feel isnt feeding the way it should. I get frequent jams wile it is trying to load the next one into the chamber. Is this common, is there a particular ammo the ppks feeds better than others?

How many rounds have you put through it? Jams for the first couple hundred rounds are pretty common with those guns until they are broke in.

personally i have ran less than 30 through it, However I did buy it used so I am not certain just how many have gone through it. Its in very good shape so it cant have to many through it.

Mine would ONLY run reliably with 95grain FMJ, and even then, well after several hundred rounds, it would still jam/stovpipe,fail to extract, etc. Lots of people who tried to like the PPK/PPK/S have had the same experience. See waltherforums.com for reference. I tried varied weight recoil springs and mag springs etc. but nothing works. It's a straight shooter; but it's a safe queen now; I don't trust it near enough to carry it.
