Again, thoughts and opinions welcome. I was reading somewhere that Tarus was having some issues with the M. Series but that they had remedied the issue? Would be nice for C.C. and in a .45 would have a bit more bite than my 9mm Ruger. |

the taurus revolvers are pretty top notch, and the PT1911 is a great gun and so is the PT92AR, Taurus is great at making copies of existing guns and improving on them, the PT145 that I handled however had a HORRIBLE trigger pull even for being SA/DA. T |

Taurus made Beretta's under license in Brazil for a while. Taurus bought the plant at the end of the contract. They did indeed make some improvments. I personally like the frame mounted safety of the Taurus better than the slide mounted safety of the Beretta. I have a PT92c and a Beretta. Both nice guns. My Taurus had a battered locking lug after about 20000 rds. They replaced the entire top half under warranty. Great service. They also make what would appear to be a S&W copy but it is an entirely different design. Reliable, nice firearms. |

I carry a PT145 Millenium Pro, no issues with it, I am happy with it. easy to conceal also. Inexpensive.

I have had a PT 145 for several years, carry it concealed daily, and qualify with it at the police range with no problems. Handles any ammo I feed it, is quite accurate, and has good ammo capacity for its size. I have other Taurus handguns as well and they all have held up fine. Good product for the $$$ and a warranty (though I have never had to use it) that can't be beat.

i had a 2" taurus stubby in 44 special for a little while, it was a hoot, and suprisingly accurate for such a short barrell. edit***i think it was 2 1/4 inch but don't remember. Last edited by ecotechjosh; 11-20-2009 at 09:01 PM. |

I would personally stay away for the Millennium pistols as a whole. I've seen a few come into the shop after literally coming apart. Some people never have problems, some people have tons of problems. Not what you want when looking for a pistol that you want to go bang when you really need it to. There are plenty of good pistols out there that are dependable and affordable, get one of them. Nothing wrong with some of the other Taurus pistols, and it's just my opinion, but I would not trust my life to any of the Millenniums. This is just my opinion as I guy that sees broken guys all day long. |

I'm preparing to add a Taurus Millenium Pro 145 since it's small and easy to conceal, and a damn good price for me ($300), and well the warranty can't be beat from what I read on Taurus website. warranty info |

I had a taurus pt 945 for years, it shot really well, and I never had any problems with it. I have a buddy with a taurus 24/7 I thought it was a nice piece as well. |
