What's up everyone. I'll be looking into getting another gun in the next couple weeks. I haven't totaly decided if I am going to get another AR or another Pistol.

Anyway the pistols I have lined up are.

1. H&K P2000

2. H&K P30

3. Springfield XDm

The caliber I will be looking into for this pistols is .40. If anyone out there has shot them all or one of them. Feel free to drop a couple lines on what you liked about them and what you disliked about them. If I end up getting a pistol it will more then likely go into rotation with my current Springfield XD as far as my carry piece.

I have been watching YouTube vides on all three. A huge plus for me was a video I came across with the P2000 and some guy in a saltwater tide pool and he was firing his gun underwater. Will I need that particular function probably not. But it's not bad to say my gun could do that lol.

As always thanks in advance.

I've got major love for the XDm. I've owned my xdm40 for way over a year with no issues. These can take major punishment with out a single hiccup. If you're looking to ccw then may I recommend the new xdmc 40? They come with the 3.8" barrel and one short mag for ccw as well as a full size mag w/extended grip to make it exactly like the full size xdm 3.8. It's basically 2 guns in one and won't let you down.

I would say with the guns you have listed it all comes down to how much you want to spend.

They all have an excellent record & will function flawlessly, but the H&K's will cost you several hundred dollars more then the XDm.

I used to have a hard on for H&K's, but after my first XD I cant justify spending the extra money for an H&K when it is no better or worse of a firearm.

Yep, gotta say the XD. I've had zero issues with my XD9. Personally, I liked the grip on the XD more than the XD-m, enough to purchase it over the match grade. It's been a fantastic, reliable pistol.

Thank you all for your input.

I am a huge fan of XD's. I've had mine going on 5-6 years now. I used to tote around a full sized kimber but wanted something more concealable. And at the time couldn't afford a smaller kimber. So I went with the XD and love it. I Also had an H&K USP .45 standard size but that thing bangs loud as hell. Like, it literally hurt my ears shooting it w/out ear protection so I wasn't toting that anywhere.

The reason why I was looking at the H&K's in my list ( those particular models ) was do to the fact that they have more of a slimmer slide compared to the XD's. And the fact that they are rugged as all hell. I also shot my bros P2000 and liked it alot. I haven't shot the P30 but from what the guy at marksman said it's basically the newer generation P2000 and slightly longer then the P2000.

Thanks again for all your inputs. It is much appreciated. Also if there are typos sorry I'm viewing from an iPhone.
