It is a 10/22. The only difference in the receiver is that it says it''s a pistol. So you can have it as a pistol or you can put a long barrel and a full size stock on it and make a rifle. With a standard 10/22 you can't make it a pistol without registering it with the feds and paying $200 for an short barreled rifle tax stamp. If you do a lot of bench shooting they're great. And all the hop up parts for a 10/22 drop in, including barrels. But don't buy it thinking your going to shoot it offhand, because it's way to heavy and long to shoot that way for any period of time. If you want more info go to. RFC Home Depending on how far your going to take the charger you might look into buying an aftermarket reciever. When you buy one you just tell them it's a pistol and it's registered as such. Then you can build either way. Also factory charger barrels and stocks are pretty cheap to buy from people modding theirs. |

White Elephant has them (3 left) for $299.99 + the govenors cut. We plan to shoot some video of whatever we shoot. Definitely will post some pics - might not be until Sunday, though.

The Charger was a hoot to shoot. It was a lot mor fun than I had thought it would be - especially with the red dot sight. ONly had a couple of jams, but we were using remington golden and cci blazers, so I'd say it went well for initial break-in. Trigger is a little heavy, but it's stock without any internal mods.

Blue-black barrel/reciever, gray laminate stock. Red dot - picked that up at Sharp at new years for $25. Cheap but it works. tasco, I think. He's thinking a 2 to 4x pistol scope would be better. The dot completely covered the target he set out at 100 yards. Never even shot at them, but did trash a 12 pak of pepsi. Amazing how they explode when hit with hollow points. |

It's a 5 MOA dot. Great for shoprt range and plinking, not so good for longer distances than about 50 yards.

Cool. I bought one in the winter and never got around to taking it out. I am going to take it out tomorrow along with my 10/22 and my GSG-5!

Did a little work on my Charger today. I installed a Tactical Solutions extended mag release, modified the bolt release into an auto bolt release, and lightened and smoothed the trigger a bit by polishing the trigger/sear engagement. I have 10.5"x.920" blued bull barrel, Volquartsen compensator, and bolt buffer coming in the mail! Last edited by Thanatos; 08-19-2009 at 12:17 AM. |

Got my Volquartsen stabilization module today. The barrel was slightly under the advertised .920" diameter at the muzzle so the VQ comp was loose. I made a shim out of some 6000 series aluminum that I happened to have in the kitchen (coke can) and clamped it on. Going to range test it tomorrow! |
