Hey guy's just had a question, On average how many magazines do you have for your pistols? I'm running at about 4 per except for the Walther P99 because those cost about 50 bucks a pop. Anywho was just curious?

anywhere from 3-8 depends on the gun. I've also owned some of my pistols for more than 15 years.. so accumulating is more the operative term for me.. lol I also chuck malfunctioning hardware very quickly.. I hate reaching in a bag and grabbing the "bad one" |

There are only two quantities when it comes to ammo and mags. There is "Some" and there is "More". There is no such thing as "Enough". For my carry pistols I have enough mags on my belt to carry at least a box of ammo, including what's in the firearm. For one pistol that's three mags and the other it's only two. For my AR's, I can carry 6 mags and enough on strippers in a shoulder bag to reload a lot more times. No worse sound than a "click" and no more ammo. |

6-8, except for the DE. I like shooting plates and "shoot and move" events that require 3-5 mags. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't own so many. For my .22 I've got about 50% of the cost of the gun in mags :-/ |

My XD is my carry gun, I have 4 for that one, 5 for the Glock 22, and 2 for the Walther, then 20 or so for the AR, I would like to get a few more for each just to have a supply of them which isn't a problem seeing as the G22's only cost 18 for brand new, same for the XD, but the P99 is killer at 50 bucks a mag..

4 is plenty...when they're 30 round "Party Magazines", that's 120 shots before I have to use Beretta's optional "Club Mode" ![]() ![]() 5 17 round mags for backup so 9 total for the 92FS ![]() Last edited by PiNk TCP; 02-18-2012 at 09:25 PM. |

6-8 for most handguns. A dozen between my XDm's, but half of those were freebies. 6 20 round AR mags, around 15 30 rounders, 6 of which are always loaded. 5 25 round M&P22 mags, 2 10 rounders. 5 10 round 10/22 mags, 2 25 rounders. |
