Always on the prowl for a good CC gun and have been looking at the LC9 for awhile. I found a good deal w/ the laserguard (lasermax) for $340 RUGER LC9 9MM W/LASER MAX 03206 @ Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore: Not a fan of the mag disconnect and chamber indicator but damn its a Ruger and I'm a Ruger whore :) I'm taking delivery on it tomorrow and I can't wait to shoot her. Will post pics. ![]() |

I removed my mag disconnect, it was a pita but it's better. anyways I was expecting something on par with the lcp with the lc9 but feel very disappointed With this gun. I'll never get another DAO if I can avoid it, plus the size was a lot bigger then I imagined. Maybe I'm just being a sourpuss but I haven't found a use for that lil gun yet that can't be filled With the smaller lcp.

Forgot to add I had to send it in to ruger right after I got it because it would grind brass off the cases and plug the firing pin with shaved brass!

Here she is. I like the way it fits in the hand... this will be the smallest gun in my collection and hope it is trouble free. http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s...3-07172028.jpg |

I love my LC9. It has about a thousand rounds through it and not so much as a hiccup! I carry it every day, great gun!

Ran 150 rounds of cheapass ammo through... no failures. Laser zeroed in fine. DAO trigger pull is LOOOOONG :) takes getting used to but i'll get used to it. in fact its quite accurate from 15-20 ft. i can't say it was a pleasure to shoot. My hands took a beating... not a range favorite for sure! I was more than happy to switch over to the 1911 for the rest of the plinking time LOL Overall pretty satisfied. Bought some short barrel gold dots.... still looking at a proper CC holster for it. What holsters are you guys using? |

Incidentally while on my search for a holster I ran across this video on Remora holsters. The girl in the video is badass :) Remora No-Clip IWB Holster - review & demo - YouTube! |

I had a LC9 for awhile when they first came out. I never had a problem with it, shot true, but hated the way it fit my hand. They do tend to beat up your hand when out plinking.

plinking and the LC9 should never be used in the same sentence LOL. went to the range yesterday to practice with self defence ammo. Very accurate out to 15 yards just using the laser. pocket carrying is a breeze with this thing. no more chunky summer CC for me

I have the LC9S and I load 147gr. extreme flat nose bullets in mine and really accurate to 25 feet. I load mine in the higher power factor area and it does really good. I found if you don't try to focus to long on trigger, pull sights, over thinking the shot you just pull the trigger when you sights are on the center ring, dots in alignment, covering bullseye BANG! I get my best shots. I usually carry mine in my pocket no bullet in chamber, just practice pulling slide when you draw. Great gun.
