Hello all!

I just purchased a beretta m9 yesterday. I do not have a CPL yet. I was curious what the ACTUAL wait time is for a pistol if you live in Snohomish county.

Thanks!
I'm asking about the wait time for a pistol, not a CPL

because weekends and holidays don't count, up to 10 days is what I was told--and any good shop should have told you similar

what shop?

I see.

Well, officially, it's 5 days, but it can take up to 10 for reasons stated above.

Before I got my CPL, I got my pistol in like 3 days.

After my CPL...within the hour.

I wonder what Seattle's mayor would say if he knew you were able to purchase an evil assault weapon without the wait time. THAT SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED!!!!

Good to know though. I thought you were required to wait the minimum 5 days.

As soon as the back ground check is completed, you can have it. Fast turn around is an indicator that things are returning to normal.

My experience with out CCW,I have done 2 internet buys this year, both were hand guns.
It usually takes 2 to 3 days for shipment to arrive at my FFL, then I'll go in and complete
the required paper work. Then the wait clock starts the next full business day, then 5
full business days later I can do the pick up. Total time 10 or 11 days depending on week
ends and or holidays. At least I've learned some things just can't be rushed.

Here in Idaho if you don`t have a CCW it takes about ten minutes or less for them to make the call. If you have a CCW there is no wait at all.
