I Carry mine Quite a bit, 7 round clip when I'm in a tee shirt and shorts, 8+1 if I'm in my regular clothes. It's amazing how much difference 1/2" makes on the magazine in terms of whether or not there is a bulge there or not.

I have the Lasermax and in any kind of daylight, I would die trying to find the laser on a target, I can pick it up much easier on my front sight. In low light the Laser is awesome, I don't train my eye to look for it, its an extra step, and it's not reliable in daylight for me.

The thing is totally reliable, I've never had a failure of any kind with the pistol. It's not a tack driver, but I hit most things that would pose a threat at 21 feet.

I just got a big boner for that techna clip.

xmas list for SHIZZZZZZZ

*update!*

soooo, I got the technaclip over christmas, and it's pretty awesome.

install was easy, and it is really easy to clip in my waistband and go.

It looks like goes pretty deep into the waistband, deeper than my IWB kydex/leather holster. I'm wondering if you notice if takes anymore time or effort to draw vs a from a holster.

depends on how it sits. you can sit it with the handle up and out, or low and flat.

I did a couple practice draws yesterday, and it went pretty smoothly.

I have the left hand Techna Clip on my LC9, I use it with the grip up when in my pocket
or under the belt, and IWB. I can easily get 3 fingers on the grip to pull it out (with the Ruger
Extended Floor Plate) 2 fingers with the flush plate. It will stay flush also, but it makes getting to it harder.

Having the grip exposed is the only way I can get a fast presentation.
This works for me because I have a loose layer of clothes covering it, anytime I covered the grip
either in my front pocket or IWB made getting the weapon out was way too slow, still experimenting. :hmmmm2:

So far really digging the clip and all the new possibility's. Works great with my DeSantis Mini Scabbard

can you use the safety like that?

The safety comes Off as easy as it did before the clip...putting the safety On is slightly harder with the clip in place, catching it with even a short fingernail is all it takes.

Not trying to piss on anyone's cheerios, but I had an LC9 and just didn't like it. The grip was just too small, even for my small hands, making recoil feel overly snappy and hard to control the gun in any kind of rapid fire. Long DAO trigger didn't help matters. And my grip seemed to ride the mag release just a tad, so when I'd shoot to slide stop it would drop the mag out.

So I sold it and got an M&P Shield (also 9mm) and IMO it is hands down a better gun. Shoots way better, very accurate, fits my hand great, holds more ammo (one or two rounds, depending on mag). Not to mention it's a 'duty grade' gun where the LC9 is not.

Dimensions are very similar, though the LC9 is a tad slimmer and a few ounces lighter. For some, that might be important. For me the tradeoff in shootability is no contest, I'll take the Shield. Just my $.02

with the extended mag, the grip is fine for my hands, which are larger than most, and I don't release the mag when I grip it. and I like the double action too.

shoots fine for me.

consider my cheerios not pissed in
