Recently started loading smokeless shot shells in addition to the black powder loads for SASS events (try buying those on line at $25 - $43 per box of 25). As I shopped around Central Oregon, it became apparent that there are few retailers here that carry re-loading supplies and almost none that carry equipment. Have online sales killed the local business. Powder is easy enough to find, and one Pacific NW Dept store carries shot and wads and primers. But, other than "sell out" items, nobody has much in the way of accessories, parts, etc for shotshell reloaders. Any leads on sources for hulls, small capacity wads, MEC parts and supplies would be greatly appreciated. Hope you guys and gals in the Valley are having better luck. |

I've seen a lot of reloading parts and components at the Sportsman's Discounters (or whatever it's called this week) on the north side of Bend. If you havn't checked there yet you may want to give it a try. Also, Nosler may be another direction to check out although they don't carry reloading equipment in itself I know they have tons of Brass and bullets. Hope this helps. Good luck on your search.

yeah i do think online sales have hurt reloader equipment sales (among other things)... i mean it wasnt a big earner for the shelf space they warmed at hardware stores. but it does seem the case, luckily they carry the powders, primers, etc at some spots, but the hardware seems to only come from online deals now days... |
