I have a Lyman Universal Case Trimmer. It's a good unit for trimming cases, and for deburring (I have the deburr attachment as well).
However, when it comes to doing Primer Pocket work, I give it a 2 thumbs down.
There is no way to really get a good grip on the case to hold it and keep it from spinning, so it makes trying to ream out the pocket a bit tough. It is actually easier to do it by hand. Which, by hand is slow, but this, is slower.
I promptly got pissed off after 5 cases, and ordered the Dillon Swager. Should have done that in the first place, but figured I would try this 12 dollar conversion out first.
My advice? If you have the Lyman Case trimmer. Keep it for deburring and trimming. Don't wait the money on this.
