When I look through the internet, I note that the .223 Remington and 5.56 mm NATO are the best in business. Most of the Military cartridges comprise of the thicker walls. The 5.56 NATO is a perfect tool for war, whereas the as a civilian I prefer the .223 Remington. My point is what happens if I try 5.56 NATO in .223 Remington barrel… is anyone having the real time experience?

If you are talking an AR15, you will have function problems. The pitch of the neck is different, and will fire form to the chamber BUT it will drag on the way out.

.223 Remington is a bolt action varmint round.

Some AR barrel makers say you can. That makes be think they chambered the neck half way in between like Springfield did with the M1A.

We dont like the 22 cal for stopping bigger critters over 150lbs.
My daughter, Grand Daughter, and wife all use 300 blackout. It limits the range to 3-400 yards, but close in it has way more energy transfer than the 5.56.

Now they have the 300HMR which puts the blackout to shame.
These require yo to make your own ammo. 5.56 does not.
