| .40 S&W Match loads
Hey everyone i have been reloading for about a year and have had nothing but a great time doing it. But the problem is the two people that i have talked to are the type of guys that they don't share there experiences about anything. (REALLY SUCKS) My questions is that what should i be looking for and doing when reloading for match grade. What kind of powder, brass, bullets ECT. I have been using Alliant's unique powder and really like it. Any help would be a big appreciation for me.

The way I arrived at my loads was to start at the least recommended charge (for the powder/bullet) and load 4 or 5 rounds, mark them and then increase the charge by half a grain, mark them etc etc etc. Soon as you find the charge your gun likes the best (tightest groups) stop. But I was always after accuracy and not necessarily imparted force. |

the joys of reloading is tailoring ammo to your gun what works on my weapon may work like crap on yours the nice thing about reloading is using other recipes as a base |
