.224 Nosler 77gr

Just loaded up a batch of 77gr Nosler custom competition HPBTs for a 20 inch, 1/8 rifle, on 23.5gr H335. Shot like shit.. Maybe 6-7 in at 100 yards. I switched to some 55gr Hornady VMAXs just to see if there was a difference, and the VMAXs were doing just over MOA at 100 without really even trying.

Anyone else shot these? What were your results? They should be tack drivers out of a 1/8 barrel..

Not really, no. I wasn't that impressed with the ballistics, and I already have a 6.8 and a 7.62x39. It seems close to the 6.8 in terms of power, and would certainly be cheaper to shoot though.
