Hi everyone. This is one of me first posts since my introduction in the newbie section. Anyway, I just bought the Crimsontrace Laserguard (LG-448) for my Springfield XD-40 Subcompact. I have not had an opportunity to shoot with it yet so I can't speak to its accuracy yet. Heres what I have so far:
The Good:
Follows the lined on the gun extremely well. Looks really nice
Laser activation button is well placed and activates instinctively with a normal grip.
Easy intuitive install
The Bad:
The design is so new that its tough to find a holster to fit it (though CrossBreed holsters makes one)
The Instructions are somewhat hard to follow (though as i mentioned, its pretty intuitive)
The laser is almost too bright I thought. When sighting it in at relatively low light, the laser blinded me so i couldn't make out the iron sights.
Overall:
I'm happy with the design, but i need to spend some time making sure its accurately sighted in.
