Just a protective plastic disk they put in there. I haven't taken it out yet

| The difference.... The real difference is on the barrel. This is a Vaquero, not a New Model Vaquero, so normally the "Bible" is on the side of the barrel and detracts from the looks (IMO). It's what always held me back from buying this gun. I saw this one on Gun Broker and noticed the lack of stuff on the barrel so I wrote and inquired and had him take a close up of the barrel and sure enough the writing is on the bottom of the barrel like a NM Vaquero. I bought it when I saw that picture. I had been looking at Cimarron Thunderers in stainless but really want a Ruger the whole time. Plus the Vaquero is much cheaper |
