That is a good deal, and a great gun. There are many ways to customize them. not sure about the ammo though |

I'm taking the ad to my local dealer. What is a Great price? Have you seen these selling (in the last 6 months) for less? How much? Where? I'm trying to do my homework and ask for 'the best price'. |

Thats a pretty good price there. Unless its a loss-leader item (I doubt they'd use firearms for that), Holly should be able to match it if not beat their price.

That's not a bad price, as far as ammo that's not a good deal, I would reccomend getting it online. Ammunition To Go : 50rds - 12 gauge NobelSport LE 2 3/4 12 pellet 00 Buckshot [ANS1200BK10] - $27.95 Or if you want less Ammunition To Go : 10rds - 12 gauge NobelSport LE 2 3/4 12 pellet 00 Buckshot [ANS1200BK10] - $5.75 |

I've seen the Big 5 ad several months ago and been down to look at one. The Mossberg "Security 12" they have does not have the same quality finish I have on my Mossberg 500. It reminded me of spraypainting something without cleaning it. The plastic seems sub-par for them too. Functionality I'm sure is fine. I took a pass on it. Later, I got my Mossberg 500 for $175 with a 26 inch vent-rib barrel and accuchoke. For $90 I got an 18 inch no choke barrel. The one shortcoming is that it's only 6 shots instead of 8. Sure, it was used... but I'm glad I waited. |

I'm gonna guess Holly is some local dealer? If so, kudos from me. I'm always supportive of the local dealer over some national chain. I hope you'll get much entertainment with your purchase, and wish that it never need be pressed into duty. |
