So......I was so disapointed in the ammo selection at Bimart that I needed a bright spot in my outing. So I see a Mossberg 500 20ga and I'm like 299.97? that seems reasonable, and I'm all let's get the paperwork going on this little jimmy jammer. So while she's fetching the box she comes back and I'm all hey 209.97 for a ruger 10/22? I've always wanted on of those too. So we put that one on the paperwork too, My son's 12th Birthday present is in the bag! so then she is like let's open the boxes and check out the guns. I'm like, this is gettting better by the minute. We've gone from no ammo to two guns! Awesome right? guess what's inside the Mossber box unbeknownst to me? It's an 18 1/2" barrel! i have no idea how I didn't faint but I managed to stay on my feet. So holy Onomatopoea batman! Bam! POW! KERWHAP! I just bought my dad a forend, pistol grip, buttstock mag extension kit and whatnot for his Mossberg 500. he said he decided he didn't want to make it a tactical, it's so nice the way it is. so I have a full tactical kit for this gun too! did I mention I love the way this gun shoots? I mean I havent shot mine yet, but love to shoot dad's. Bonus! soooo stoked. I'm going to give dad the 320 Savage, it will be a nice compliment to his Winchester 1300.

I'll post more pics later, I'll let you know how much fun I'm having with it after I shoot the crap out of my wife's dead dryeer with it.

I'm taking my Utah/Oregon CPL Class Saturday afternoon, I'm hoping I can squeeze in a little KAbooM! Time between the Honey Do's and class.

Who are you going through and what did it cost? Looking at this for the wife and myself. Thanks.

My dad has a 1300 that he got from my grandpa, that's a really nice gun, it should last you a lifetime. In my limited experience with pump shotguns, I like the way that one loads the best.

I bought rifled slugs, birdshot, and buckshot, I'm going to try them all. I've only ever shot target loads through a Mossberg 500 20 GA. Mossberg recommends an Improved cylnder for slugs and full or modified for buckshot. They recommend never shooting without a choke because it will toast the threads.

The 10/22 is in the cabinet for another 45 days until his birthday, hopefully I can find ammo for it by then. I saw 5 rounds behind the counter taped to a piece of cardboard for $5.00 each lol.

This gun is just more fun than a barrel of monkeys. 3" 3/4 oz hollow point rifled slugs Destroy everything they shoot and make me giggle. #3 buck was fun too, you can get a 2 liter bottle, empty it and then shoot it with buckshot, and run after it and keep shooting it., what a hoot. I'm looking forward to doing some skeet and trap shooting with the long barrel.
