Silencer Co Salvo 12

Silencer Co has announced the first available shotgun suppressor.

Salvo 12

From what I've gathered, the 12" model is 132db from an 18" Rem870. That is awesome.

While 1' on the end may make some shotguns unwieldy, I'm curious to see this on my KSG. 3' OAL, lots of rounds, and quiet? Yes please.

Also, my bday is coming up, and I'm accepting donations.

how did that ksg shake out?

Any issues?

(also I kind of think a silencer on a shotgun is like a spoiler on a semi)

So far no issues. Other than slugs bruised the ever living fuck outa my shoulder. Kicks like a mule with slugs, but my shoulder is bony as hell so it could just be me.

Haven't had the opportunity to shoot it all that much. Good news though, turns out Fred at CAR Firearms in Tukwila has a pimped out one, and he owns all the tools to work on 'em. He's gone through his completely to smooth it out and make sure everything runs great. At some point I'd like him to do the same to mine.

You're more than welcome to borrow it if you plan an outing mang.

TLDR; I LOVE IT. Plus mine is OD Green, which makes it cooler. And I dunno, my wife has permanent hearing damage from a 12g. I'd put a suppressor on the KSG as there's no real length penalty. Plus it makes a 12g quieter than my FNX-T with an Octane45HD? AWESOME.

Haha nope!

My bang bang pow collection is not as robust as most. And I'm down to 2 BMW bikes (including the wife's).

I'll have to ride your sumo sometime to remind me of the goodness

I do want one though....but man that's rich. More than the KSG cost...

Oh no shit! That makes it even easier!

Same to you on the KSG. I'm up there decently often to go to Timmeh's place.

I DO kinda feel like a bad person. I've had my Larue PredatOBR 14.5" 5.56 for a couple months now. Still haven't managed to get it to the range. /fail

I just saw a you tube vid of this, it is way less than 132 db.

2 BMW's? where have I been?

Ok, maybe this one is longer than 12, but still

That's the full 12". All of their measurements were on 18" 870s, so they make it look bigger.
