leave

I've heard some say that if you leave an ar mag fully loaded that it can soften the spring over time.. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I have a stack of mags, both metal and magpul 30 rounders that I've left loaded for a while. should I remove the rounds until I'm ready to use 'em?
