Just a FYI, the North Fork Gravel Pit near Deming is open for business. You'll need a Discover Pass to drive onto the DNR land. The place is pretty clean too! PM me if you want to go do a quick draw competition, I'm available most weekends. A couple of pics taken 05/23/2015:

I will be taking my son shooting tomorrow. Hoping for the same nice weather we had today. We will stop for snacks at the Nooksack Casino Chevron at 10am. We will be at the pit around 10:30. We will have a canopy, table, chairs and a garbage can. I'm sure there will be people heading to the gun...

Anyone hear anything about how the meeting went? I've been thinking about checking this place out, but there was a meeting about whether to shut it down or not...meeting was this morning...anyone hear of any results?
